Matthew Omolesky is a human rights lawyer and a researcher in the field of cultural heritage law and policy. Formerly a researcher at the Slovene Inštitut za Civilizacijo in Kulturo and the French Laboratoire Européen d'Anticipation Politique, he is currently involved in several human rights and cultural heritage projects in the Horn of Africa. His writing has appeared in Quadrant, The American Spectator, Democratiya, the Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations, the European Journal of Archaeology, and elsewhere.
